Mr. Joao Alves de Queiroz Filho serves as the President of Monte Cristalina, S.A. In 2000, Mr. De Queiroz Filho founded Monte Cristalina S.A. for the purpose of investing in Brazilian companies in 2000. He founded Arisco Produtos Alimentícios S.A. (“Arisco”) in 1969 and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. Mr.De Queiroz Filho has managed his asset portfolio through transactions in the financial market and has sought opportunities to acquire companies. He has been Chairman of Hypermarcas SA, since January 2, 2008. He serves as a Director of Universo Online S/A and Grupo Arcor. Mr. De Queiroz Filho served as Director at Arcor Sociedad Anónima (formerly know as Grupo Arcor). Mr. De Queiroz Filho served as an Independent Director of Grupo Herdez, S.A. de C.V. since 2001.
