Biography
Mr. Luca Mantegazza serves as the Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Hypermarcas SA since March 13, 2015. At 21 was established as an entrepreneur when he founded the International Boats, exclusive representation of international shipyards in Brazil. In 2001, he started in the pharmaceutical segment in IQF Schering-Plough SA, a joint venture in which his family held a majority stake. In 2003 he was appointed Product Manager at Primary Care Division and was responsible for the launch of two products that have become leaders in their categories: Desalex® and Alivium®. Since 2006, the company started to adopt the new brand Mantecorp Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry Ltda. He is the President of Instituto Crianca é Vida created in 1996, a non profit organization that develops projects for disease prevention with a focus on child's physical, emotional and social health.
