Biography
I'm a B.Sc nanotechnology student in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). I've worked on projects encompassing thin film fabrication and characterization, microfluidics, photonics, quantum optics and information, quantum cryptography and free-space communications. I'm especially fond of great team work, specifically when working in a multidisciplinary team. My expertise lies in combining experimental and theoretical work in engineering and applied experimental physics to develop novel scientific applications. My goal is to use my research background to solve real world problems. I have mainly focused on photonics and nanotechnology before, and am also interested in the study of IoT applications, security, and development. Currently my research lies in the development of point of care systems for cheap, on the go, reliable chemical tests for enviromental and health diagnostics.
