Biography
Rodrigo S. Ferreira received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) in 2009, with specialization in Computer and Systems. He received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on Image Analysis, Remote Sensing and Computer Vision from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in 2011. He recently received the Ph.D. degree from the same institution, having done part of his Ph.D. research at the University of Pavia, Italy. His current research interests are remote sensing image analysis, machine learning, pattern recognition, data mining, cloud computing and big data.
