Biography

Mr. Nildemar Secches has been a Director of Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. since 2008. Mr. Secches served as the Chief Executive Officer of BRF S.A. (alternate name, BRF - Brasil Foods S.A.) from January 1995 to October 30, 2008 and served as its President from 2007 to 2013. Mr. Secches served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Perdigão group of companies since 1995. From 1995 to 2008, Mr. Secches served as the President of Empresas Perdigão. From 1972 to 1990, he served as Executive Officer of Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social - BNDES. From 1990 to 1994, he served as the Chief Executive Officer, general director of the corporate group and Managing Director of Grupo Iochpe-Maxion. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of ABEF - Brazilian Association of Chicken Producers and Exporters and Vice President of ABIPECS - Brazilian Association of Pork Producers and Exporters Industries. Mr. Secches served as the Chairman of BRF S.A. until April 2013. He served as Co-Chairman of BRF S.A. He serves as a Vice Chairman of Iochpe-Maxion S.A. He served as the Chairman of WEG S.A. He has been an Independent Vice-Chairman of WEG S.A. since April 27, 2010. He has been a Director of BRF S.A. since April 12, 2007. He serves as a Director of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES). Mr. Secches has been a Director of WEG S.A. since 1997. He has been a Director of Quattor Petroquimica SA, Iochpe-Maxion S.A. since 2004 and Ultrapar Participações S.A. since April 2002. He served as a Director of Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social (BNDES) from 1987 to 1990 and Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. since May 2012. He served as a Director of Braskem Petroquímica S.A. since 2008. Mr. Secches received his Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, a Master's Degree in Finance from Pontificia Universidade Catolica of Rio de Janeiro and a PhD in Economics from the University of Campinas (state of Sao Paulo).
