Biography
Mr. Nicholas Thadaney, also known as Nick, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Global Equity Capital Markets at TMX Group Limited since September 01, 2015. Mr. Thadaney served as the Chief Executive Officer of Canada at Investment Technology Group Inc. from September 2005 to July 31, 2015 and also served as its Managing Director until July 31, 2015. Mr. Thadaney joined ITG Canada Corp. in October 2000 as Director of Quantitative Sales and Trading of ITG Canada and also served as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He served as Director and Head of Institutional Sales at ITG Canada Corp. He began his career at First Canada Securities in 1992 and subsequently held positions at CT Securities and TD Securities. He served as Vice President and Head of Business Development & International Equities at T.D. Securities. He serves as a Director of Aequitas Innovations Inc. and TSX Trust. Mr. Thadaney holds a degree in Economics from York University.
