Biography
Mr. Candido Botelho Bracher has been the Chief Executive Officer of Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. since June 2017 and has been its Member of Executive Board since August 2005. Mr. Bracher is the Founder and Partner of Fundo Pitanga at Reva Gestão de Investimentos Ltda. Mr. Bracher served as an Executive Vice President and General Manager of Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. since May 2, 2005. He serves as a Vice President of Unibanco-Uniao de Bancos Brasileiros S.A. He served as a Director-General of The Wholesale Area at Itaú Unibanco S.A. from July 2015 to May 2017. Mr. Bracher served as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President of Banco Itaú BBA since 2005 and its President since April 2005. Mr. Bracher served as an Executive Officer of Bahia Corretora and Manager of Banco da Bahia Investimentos from 1983 to 1985, Executive Officer and Vice Chief Executive Officer of BADESP - Banco de Desenvolvimento do Estado de São Paulo from 1985 to 1987, Executive Officer of Banco Itamarati from 1987 to 1988 and Executive Officer of Banco BBA Creditanstalt from 1988 to 2003. He has been a Director of Banco Itau BBA S.A since February 2003. He served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Itau BBA International plc since September 24, 2012 until December 2016 and served as its Deputy Chairman. He served as a Director of Itau BBA International plc and Banco Itau Holding Financeira SA. He served as a Director of Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. since November 28, 2008 until April 19, 2017. Mr. Bracher served as a Director of Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao since 2005 and BM&F Bovespa SA since April 2009. He served as a Director of Itaú CorpBanca until November 15, 2015. He served as a Director of Bovespa Holding SA and Banco Itamarati SA. He served as a Director of Banco BBA Creditanstalt S.A. from 1988 to 2003. Mr. Bracher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo of Fundação Getúlio Vargas in 1980.
