Mr. Fernando Della Torre Chagas has been Deputy Officer of Investments, Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Sectors of Uniao de Bancos Brasileiros S.A. (Unibanco) since October 2003 Mr. Chagas is responsible for Uniao de Bancos Brasileiros activities in the investments, mergers and acquisitions and private equity sectors. He serves as Officer & Director at Itaú Unibanco S.A. He began his career in Banco Nacional in 1992 and joined in 1995, when Unibanco purchased Banco Nacional. He served in the sales and trading sector until 1998. Mr. Chagas graduated in Business from the Business and Economy School of Getúlio Vargas Foundation (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) of São Paulo in 1992 and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
