Biography

Mr. Plínio Cardoso da Costa Patrão served as an Executive Vice President at Cielo SA since May 24, 2014 and Member of the Board of Executive Officers since April 2014. Mr. da Costa Patrão was responsible for the Technology and Operations area since October 2012. He served as an Officer of management of fraud prevention and Security Office of Uniao de Bancos Brasileiros S.A. (Unibanco) since 2004. Mr. da Costa Patrão served as an Officer of Unibanco Holdings S.A. He joined Unibanco in 1995 as a Manager of Electronic Channels, where he acted in several areas and served as Chief Financial Officer / business development of Tradecom from 2001 to 2004. He was employed at Avibrás. From 1996 to 2000, at Unibanco, he was superintendent of electronic banking, call center superintendent, superintendent DBM (Data Base Marketing) and Associate Director of PJ internet. He was Retail Project Manager at Banco Nacional from March 1995 to November 1995. From 1992 to 1995, he was Manager for automation projects at Shell Brazil. From 1989 to 1992, he was Test and Measurement Systems Sales Engineer at Hewlett Packard do Brasil. From 1986 to 1987, he was an Electronics Engineer, responsible for development of opto-electronic systems at Optolaser. He was Executive Director for Redecard S.A. from January 2011 to June 2012. He was Director of Itaú Unibanco from April 2009 to December 2010 responsible for Internal Controls, Operational Risk and Compliance. He served as Director of Unibanco - União de Bancos Brasileiros SA from 2005 to April 2009, responsible for IT and Operations for Business, Treasury, Brokerage, Private Banking and Asset. He was a Member of the Risk Committee, Fraud Prevention and Compliance of Redecard from August to December 2010. Mr. da Costa Patrão graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Aeronautical Technology Institute (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica) in 1986, post-graduated in Marketing from the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro) in 1994 and holds a Masters degree in Business management from Stanford University in 1999.
