João Jacó Hazarabedian

Biography

  Mr. João Jacó Hazarabedian serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Itautec S.A. - Grupo Itautec. Mr. Hazarabedian served as General Manager of Itaú Unibanco S.A. from June 1989 to March 1993, General Director from April 1993 to February 1996 and Executive Director from March 1996 to April 2011. He held administrative positions at Duratex S.A. (now Satipel Industrial S.A.), Itaú Unibanco S.A. and Itaú Unibanco Holding S.A. He served as Executive Director of Information Technology, Standards & Investment Management and Member of Executive Board at Duratex S.A. He served as an Executive Director of Supply Chain, IT and Investments at Duratex SA since May 2011. He served as a Director of Banco Itauleasing S.A. from April 1996 to April 2009 and an Executive Director of Banco Itaucard S.A. from January 2007 to April 2011. Mr. Hazarabedian served as a Member of the Deliberative Counsel at FUNDEP – Multi-Sponsored Pension Plan from December 2010 to March 2011. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Itaú Cultural Institute from May 1993 to April 2011 and Itaú Bank Ltd. from May 1993 to May 2011. Mr. Hazarabedian graduated in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo in 1977.
