Biography
He holds a degree in Agronomy Engineering from the Federal University of Pelotas (1978), a Ph.D. in Agronomy (Phytopathology) from the Federal University of Viçosa (1981) and a PhD in Phytopathology from the University of São Paulo (2001). He is currently researcher A of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation. He has experience in the field of Agronomy, with a concentration in Nematology, working mainly on the following topics: management of phytoparasite nematodes in integrated production systems, with emphasis on Meloidogyne javanica, Rotylenchulus reniformis and Heterodera glycines. Professor of the permanent postgraduate program in Agronomy at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul. Since June 2013, he has been the General Manager of Embrapa Agropecuária Oeste.
