Biography
Mr. Bezerra holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Since 2013, he has been Vice-Director of the Public Policy Analysis Executive Department of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. Between 2002 and 2012, he was a Finance professor and researcher at the Brazilian Public and Corporate Administration School of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He received the following awards: 2010: Brazil Economics Award for the book “Política Monetária, Bancos Centrais e Metas de Inflação” (Monetary Policy, Central Banks and Inflation Targets); First place in the Economics Book category from the Federal Economics Council – COFECON.
