Biography

Mr. Claudio Thomaz Lobo Sonder serves as Vice President at Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. Mr. Sonder serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Officers Board at Suzano Holding S.A. (IPLF Holding S.A.) and has been its Vice-Chairman of The Board of Directors since April 2013. He serves as President of Alden Desenvolvimento Imobiliário Ltda and Premesa S.A. Mr. Sonder served as Executive Vice President of Suzano Holding S.A. Mr. Sonder served as an Officer at Polpar S.A. He is a Partner-Director of Panorama Consult. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Management of Celanese Corporation from 1999 to January 31, 2004 and its Chief Executive Officer and Member of Management Board until October 31, 2004. (Brazil), OGX S.A. and Hospital Albert Einstein (Brazil). He served as a Director at Óleo e Gás Participações S.A. (alternate name, OGX Petróleo e Gás Participações SA). He has a degrees in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Mackenzie University in 1966/1967 and has concluded extension courses at the University of Munich, Germany, in 1964 and Master's Degree from Harvard Business School, Boston, in 1973.
