Cédric Bès

Biography

Cédric Bès is R&D Director in mAbxience. He brings to mAbxience more than 15 years working with antibodies and technical experience with major molecular biology, cell culture biology, biochemical and associated Bioinformatics tools. After is PhD in molecular immunology, Cédric started his career in 2002 at the University of Irchel, in Zurich (Switzerland) as Post-Doc-Professor Assistant to Pr Dr Pluckthun in the Institute for Biochemistry and to later move back to France to work at the University of Montpellier in a Post-doctoral position at the Faculty of Pharmacy. He then spent 3 years at the Centre d’Immunologie Pierre de Fabre as Scientist and Head of the Antibody Engineering Lab, working on antibody engineering, sequences recovery from hybridoma cells culture and immunogenetic analysis for several independent research projects subjected for therapeutical evaluation in oncological indications. After this, he worked for 3 years in Vivalis (Nantes, France) as Scientist and Project Leader in the Protein Department developing mammalian expression platform and processes for custom antibodies.   Cédric joined mAbxience in 2012. He is in charge of the overall Biosimilar Project management for the development of the company’s pipeline. He is accountable for the delivery of the CMC package and presentation to regulatory bodies for scientific advices. Cédric holds a Biochemistry and Chemistry degree from University Montpellier II and a PhD Degree on Molecular Biology and Molecular Immunobiology from the University of Montpelier I.
