Biography
Wouter is mAbxience Director Business Development. Since 2003 Wouter has been active in the biotechnology industry in roles of business development and private equity. He combines a deep knowledge of the biotech industry with financial expertise and deal-making. Wouter started his career in Switzerland at Berna Biotech where he entered for the first time the business development arena. After 2.5 years, he moved to Crucell, a mid-sized biotech company in the Netherlands. In this role, he successfully closed more than 20 out- and in licensing deals worldwide and was part of the M&A team that finally facilitated the acquisition of Crucell by J&J, for more than USD 2B. Afterwards Wouter joined Rabo Private equity, part of one of largest banks in the Netherlands. Here he gained deep knowledge of the financial structuring of equity and debt deals, in the biotech and clean tech industry. In 2014 Wouter arrived to mAbxience as Business Development Director, he is responsible for global business development and the global commercial activities. Wouter holds a master degree from the University of Delft. close
