Biography
Mr. Langoni is an independent member of the Company's Board of Directors. He is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of Souza Cruz; Member of the Advisory Board of Guardian Industries; President of Projeta Consultoria Econômica Ltda. and Senior Advisor of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce. He was President of the Central Bank between 1980 and 1983. Mr. Langoni graduated in economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 1968 and obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago in 1970.
