Marcio Guedes Pereira Junior

Biography

Mr. Marcio Guedes Pereira, Junior, serves as the Head of Investiment Banking at J. Safra Investment Bank. Mr. Pereira serves as a Partner at Pangea and works in Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Consulting and Debt Restructuring. In 16 years, he worked in the investment banking area at Credit Suisse, Citigroup and Unibanco, in origination and structuring of M&A operations and in the capital markets, including equity and fixed income funds of Brazilian companies in Brazil and abroad, in addition to securitization and mortgage financing. He serves as an Advisor at Cia. Hering. He has vast experience in negotiations at companies and in capital market operations. From 1987 to 1993, he worked for Group Bunge in treasury and portfolio management in Brazil and abroad, as well as in capital market operations and corporate finance. He serves as a Director of Cia. Hering. He has been an Independent Director at Brasil Insurance Participações e Administração S.A. since September 11, 2015. Mr. Pereira served as an Independent Director of Metalfrio Solutions S.A. He serves as a Member of Supervisory Board member of TCI Inpar Desenvolvimento Imobiliário S/A and Viver Incorporadora e Construtora S/A. He served as a Director at Pomifrutas S/A. He served as a Director of Saraiva S.A. Livreiros Editores since April 2011. In 1999, his work was recognized through the Brazil Financing House of the Year award from IFR Latin America he won for Unibanco. Mr. Pereira holds a business administration degree and MBA degree from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and Studied a course at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
