Biography
Mr. Marcos de Barros Lisboa is an economist with a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He was assistant professor of the Department of Economy of Standford University from 1996 to 1998 and of EPGF/ Getúlio Vargas Foundation from 1998 to 2002. From 2003 to 2005, he was the Secretary of Economic Policy of the Ministry of Finance and President of the Brazilian Institute of Reinsurance from 2005 to 2006. Between 2006 and 2009 he was the Executive Director of Itaú Unibanco and between 2009 and 2013 was the bank’s Executive Director. Since 2013 he has been the vice-president of Insper – Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa. He is member of the Board of Directors of Natura and Ambev.
