Biography

Max has joined the Cancer Research Society as President and CEO in January 2017. The Cancer Research Society is a national not-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to fund research on all types of cancer. Since its founding in 1945, it has been helping Canadian researchers and physicians to better understand the causes of cancer. The Society contributes to the development of effective treatments that improve patients’ quality of life and helps to protect Canadians’ health through cancer prevention. Formerly President, CEO and co-founder of NEOMED, Max was leading the entire NEOMED initiative. He was in charge of the strategic planning and corporate development of both NEOMED and the NEOMED Institute.
