Mr. Carlos Henrique Moreira serves as the President of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Embratel Participacoes S.a and served as its President. Mr. Moreira serves as Chief Executive Officer of Empresa Brasileira de Telecomunicacoes S.A. - Embratel. He serves as President of Embratel Holdings. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Algar Telecom Leste, Vice President of Xerox, Vice President of ABM, Operations Executive Officer of Empresa Brasileira de Telecomunicações S.A., Operations Executive Officer of Standard Electrica S.A. Mr. Moreira served as Vice Chairman of the International Telecommunication Union, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and is also a former member of Intelsat in Washington D.C., representing the Brazilian government from 1966 to 1974. He serves as member of TELERJ's board of directors. He is member of the International Telecommunications Satellite Consortium (Intelserves as t). He has been a Director of Net Servicos De Comunicacao S.A. , since April 28, 2005 and has been a Director of Embratel Participacoes S.A., since 2004. Mr. Moreira holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica.
