Biography
Ricardo Knoepfelmacher is a member of the Board of Directors of NII Holdings, Inc., a provider of differentiated mobile communication services for businesses and high value consumers in Brazil. NII trades on the NASDAQ stock market under the symbol NIHD. Mr. Knoepfelmacher has served on NII Holdings' Board of Directors since 2013. Mr. Knoepfelmacher co-founded RK Partners, formerly known as Angra Partners Turnaround, a financial and operational restructuring and turnaround advisory firm, in 2003 and is currently a Managing Partner of the firm. Prior to his service as Managing Partner at RK Partners, Mr. Knoepfelmacher served as Chief Executive Officer of Brasil Telecom from 2005 to 2009 and Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Telecom from 2000 to 2002. He also worked for Citibank and McKinsey & Company before starting his first company, MGDK & Associados, a restructuring and consulting firm.
