Biography
Mr. Marcelo Lyra was born in the state of Minas Gerais on March 13, 1964. He is an electric and electronic engineer, and holds a postgraduate degree in General Management from Harvard Business School, and in Marketing from Unifacs of Bahia. He has been part of the Odebrecht Group for ten years. Before joining the Group, Mr. Lyra was director of Rede Globo de Televisão in São Paulo, being responsible for affiliate relations (from 2000 to 2003) and occupied positions at Rede Bahia de Comunicação for two periods, initially as Business Director (1994 to 2000) and later as Media Business Director (2003 to 2007). He joined the Group in 2007, and from 2007 to 2016, he was Institutional Affairs and Communication Vice President for Braskem. He is currently responsible for Odebrecht S.A.'s Communication and Sustainability.
