John Romeo

Biography

John Romeo is Oliver Wyman’s Managing Partner in the Americas and a member of the Executive Committee. In this role John oversees Oliver Wyman’s activities in offices across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Columbia. Previously, John played leadership roles in the firm’s Corporate Finance and Advisory and Corporate and Institutional Banking practices, served on the European IPO taskforce convened by EVCA, EuropeanIssuers and FESE as well as the boards of MMC Securities Limited and several early stage fintech companies. John is also a member of the MMC Global Risk Center Advisory Panel. John began his career in investment banking at SG Warburg and has over 20 years of consulting experience advising the boards and senior executives of the world’s leading private and public sector institutions on top level corporate strategy, organizational effectiveness, risk management, innovation, efficiency and M&A. John has a Master’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University where he was a Senior Scholar.
