Biography
He holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1970) and a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1991). He is a Senior Researcher at the Cell Biology Laboratory of IOC / Fiocruz and a senior researcher at CNPq and a Scientist at Our State by FAPERJ. He has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology, focusing on the experimental chemotherapy of Chagas disease, and special interest in trypanocidal activity and mechanism of action of natural and synthetic compounds
