Thomas E. Schodorf

Biography

Mr. Thomas E. Schodorf, also known as Tom, served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Splunk, Inc. from October 6, 2009 to March 2015. At Splunk, the popular software platform that uses machine data to gain real-time operational intelligence, he oversaw all aspects of global sales and field operations. His experience includes domestic and international sales and executive management positions at BMC Software and IBM spanning the past 26 years. He has focused on technology sales, sales management and business leadership both domestically and internationally for more than 35 years in companies such as IBM, BMC Software and Splunk Inc. He spent 17 years at BMC Software in a number of executive positions including head of Asia-Pacific field sales, Vice President and Global General Manager of the Identify business unit. While at Identify, Mr. Schodorf led R&D, sales and marketing with full P&L responsibility. He has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles for companies such as Splunk, BMC Software and IBM. He also led BMC Software's Asia-Pacific team, based in Singapore and the U.S. Commercial division. Prior to BMC Software, he served as a Sales Executive of IBM for over nine years. He has been a Director of Rapid7, Inc. since July 15, 2016 and ActionPacked Networks, Inc., since March 22, 2016. He serves as Director of Kaseya Limited. He has been a Director of Kaseya International Shared Services Sàrl (also known as Kaseya International Limited) since March 2014. He serves as a Director of Kaseya Luxembourg Holdings S.C.A. He has been a Director of OutSystems- Software em Rede, S.A. since May 18, 2017. He has been a Director of Kaseya International Shared Services Sàrl since March 2014. Mr. Schodorf holds a B.S.B.A. from Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Dayton.
