James Randall Martin

Biography

Mr. James Randall Martin, also known as Randy, has been the Chief Operating Officer and Director at Para Resources Inc since June 21, 2016. Mr. Martin serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nicaragua Milling Company Ltd. and MLR Forestry. He has been President of RNC (Management) Ltd since March 2001. He was founder of Colombia Milling Ltd. and serves as the President. He served as the President of Para Resources Inc. He has 35 years of experience in mining with knowledge of exploring, developing and operating large-scale gold projects in Latin America. Mr. Martin served as the Chief Executive Officer of RNC Gold, Inc. from March 2001 to February 2006. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tango Mineral Resources Inc. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Colombia Goldfields Limited from March 2006 to 2009. Mr. Martin served as President of RNC Gold, Inc. and was its Founder. He served as President of Colombia Goldfields Ltd. from March 2006 to October 2007. From 1993 to 2000, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Greenstone Resources Ltd. He has worked with AMAX Inc., DRX Inc., Martin Marrietta and Behre Dolbear. Mr. Martin formed a mining consulting company in 2000 which focuses on management, operation and construction of open pit and underground mines in Central America. He was instrumental in acquiring the Bonanza mine and concessions as well as the La Libertad mine in Nicaragua for RNC Gold Inc From March 2001 to December 2003, he served as President of RNC Resources Limited. He served as the Chairman of RNC Gold, Inc. since May 16, 2005 and served as its Director since December 2, 2003. He served as Vice Chairman at Colombia Goldfields Ltd. since October 2007 and its Executive Director since March 2006. He served as Vice-Chairman of Colombia Goldfields Limited from October 2007 to 2009. He has been Director of Sino Silver Corp. since February 2005. He serves as Director of Redlion Resources Corporation. Mr. Martin serves on the Board of Directors of Norteak Madera, S.A. a forestry management company in Nicaragua. He served as a Director of Medoro Resources Ltd., since January 2010. He served as a Director of Gran Colombia Gold Corp. until September 21, 2011. He served as a Director of Sinomar Capital Corp. From March 2001 to December 2003, Mr. Martin served as Director of RNC Resources Limited. He served as a Director of Tango Mineral Resources Inc. He served as a Director of Hunt Mining Corp. until December 23, 2009. Mr. Martin has a BSc. in Mining Engineering from Henry Krumb School of Mines at Columbia University.
