Jorge Queiroz De Moraes Jr.

Biography

Mr. Jorge Queiroz de Moraes, Jr. serves as President Executive Officer of Denerge. Mr. de Moraes has been the President of the Board of Trustees of REDE Seguridade Foundation. Prior to 1999, Mr. Moraes was an assistant professor at the Faculdade de Administração da Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He serves as Chairman of EEVP. He has been the Chairman of Rede Energia SA since April 1995 and served as its Chief Executive Officer and Director of Investor Relations. Mr. Moraes holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, a master’s degree in business administration and a Ph.D. in Finance and Accounting from Michigan State University.
