Biography
Economist, graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administration of USP, Master and Ph.D. in Economics from UNICAMP. He lectured at the Economics Department of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, at the Department of Economics of FEA / USP and Institute of Economics of UNICAMP. He served as Fiscal Council of PRODESP (Data Processing of the State of São Paulo) and of the Gas Company of São Paulo (COMGAS). In 2000, he was the representative of Brazil at the Forum of Federations, a nongovernmental organization based in Canada, dedicated to the international promotion and improvement of federative practices. Between 1982 and 1984, he held the position of Economic Policy Advisor to the Secretary of Economy and Planning of the State of São Paulo. He was Researcher of the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP), Economic Policy Advisor of the Secretary of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo, Gilberto Dupas and Advisor of Economic Policy of the Secretary of Economy and Planning of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Cláudio Sochaczewski .
