Biography
He holds a medical degree from the Federal University of Paraná (1969), a master's degree in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1990) and a PhD in Ophthalmology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (1993). Treasurer (20002 to 2009) of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology. He is currently a collaborator of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology, Counselor and Coordinator of the Technical Chamber of Ophthalmology of the Regional Council of Medicine of the State of São Paulo, Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo and Head of the Refractive Surgery Section of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Brotherhood of Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo. Full Member (Chair No. 80) of the São Paulo Academy of Medicine. He has experience in the area of ​​Medicine, with emphasis in Ophthalmology, working mainly on the following subjects: Corneal and Conjunctive Diseases, Eye Bank, Cornea Transplantation, Eye Refraction, Refractive Surgery, Contact Lens Adaptation .
