Biography
He holds a PhD in Endocrinology from the University of São Paulo (1993) and a postdoctoral degree in Molecular Endocrinology from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1998. He is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis in Pediatric Endocrinology and Molecular Medicine, working mainly on the following topics: 1) Growth disorders. 2) Gonadal and adrenal function and abnormalities of steroidogenesis or steroid action, with emphasis on androgenic and glucocorticoid sensitivity.
