Biography
He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the State University of Santa Catarina (2000), PhD in Psychobiology (2005), Specialization in Drug Dependence (2008) and Post-Doctorate in Neurosciences (2009) by the Federal University of São Paulo. Specialization in Veterinary Acupuncture by Instituto Bioethicus. He is currently Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. He is a master's and doctoral advisor of the Post-Graduation Program in Health Sciences of the FCMSCSP. It operates in three main lines of research: 1) mechanisms of neuronal plasticity in animal models of neurological and psychiatric diseases; 2) study on the therapeutic properties and mechanism of action of essential oils of plants in animal models of neurological and psychiatric diseases; 3) study on the therapeutic properties and mechanism of action of acupuncture in animal models of neurological and psychiatric diseases. google scholar: http://scholar.google.com/citations?user=ZEAjvE0AAAAJ&hl=en
