Biography
He holds a medical degree from the School of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1983), a Master's degree in Medicine (Surgery) from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1992) and a PhD in Medicine (Surgery) from Faculdade de Ciências Physicians of the Santa Casa de São Paulo (1999). He is currently a Clinical Doctor and Emergency Director of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Fellowship of São Paulo and Adjunct Professor of the Medical School of Santa Casa de São Paulo. He has experience in the area of ​​Medicine, with emphasis on Surgery, working mainly on the following topics: traumatic and non-traumatic emergency, portal hypertension, portal-disconnection, schistosomiasis, cirrhosis and esophageal varices.
