Biography
He holds a medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1970), a Master's degree in Medicine (Preventive Medicine) from the University of São Paulo (1977) and a PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1988). He is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, collaborator of the Pan American Health Organization, the Ministry of Health, and the State Department of Health of São Paulo. He has experience in Medicine with emphasis on Infectious Diseases, working mainly on the following topics: epidemiology, immunization, epidemiological surveillance, exanthematic disease and bacterial meningitis
