Biography

Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Santo Amaro in 1985. Doctor in Medicine, area of ​​concentration in General Surgery by the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo in 2010. Specialist title in Digestive Endoscopy (SOBED) and Peroral Endoscopy (SBEP ) and improvement in Ecoendoscopy by the Institut Paoli-Calmettes, Marseille, France. Specialist in General Surgery (INAMPS-SP), member of the Brazilian Society of Digestive Endoscopy, member of the Brazilian Society of Endometriosis and Minimally Invasive Gynecology (SBE) and member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). He is currently Manager of the Endoscopy Service of the Sírio Libanês Hospital, São Paulo, Brazil. Founder and coordinator, in Brazil, of the Franco-Brazilian Center for Ecoendoscopy at Santa Casa de São Paulo. President of the Center for Studies and Research Jorge Barretto Prado (Endoscopy Service of Santa Casa de São Paulo). President of the Nucleus of Ecoendoscopy SOBED 2017-2018. Medical First Assistant of the Endoscopy Service of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia of São Paulo and endoscopist doctor of the hospitals: Sírio Libanês-SP, Samaritano-SP. He works in the areas of High and Low Echoendoscopy, Echobronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, High Digestive Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Enteroscopy
