Biography
He holds a medical degree from Sorocaba Medical School (1972), a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1981), a PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1990) and a Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1994). He is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Santa Casa de São Paulo and a sanitarist from the State Government of São Paulo and Coordinator of the Laboratory of History of Science at the Butantan Institute. He has experience in Collective Health, with emphasis on Collective Health, working mainly in the following subjects: evaluation of health services and systems, supplementary health system, history of medicine and public health, state and health regulation and social protection.
