Biography

He holds a medical degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1986), a Phonoaudiology degree from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (1985), a medical residency in Preventive and Social Medicine at the Hospital of the State Public Servant of São Paulo / Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1988), Master of Medicine (Preventive Medicine) by the University of São Paulo (1995) and PhD in Medicine (Preventive Medicine) by the University of São Paulo (2002). Postdoctoral degree from the University of Barcelona (2010) and the Catholic University of Santos (2011). He is currently a teaching assistant at ABC Medical School and an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Santa Casa de São Paulo.
