Paulo Augusto Ayroza Galvão Ribeiro

Biography

Graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo in 1987. From February 1988 to January 1990 he studied Medical Residence in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo. He completed his Masters in Tocoginecology in 1999 and PhD in 2003, also in Tocoginecology, both by the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Santa Casa de São Paulo, teaching activities at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as guidelines for Master's and PhD students in Surgery Research. He held the Presidency of the Ayres Netto Study Center at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Santa Casa de São Paulo from 2015 to 2016. He is President of the National Commission of Gynecological Endometriosis and Endometriosis of the Brazilian Federation of Societies of Gynecology and Obstetrics - FEBRASGO since August 2016. He is the Head of the Gynecology and Gynecological Surgery Clinic of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Santa Casa de Misericórdia from Sao Paulo. In July 2017 he was appointed Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of this same Institution. Has extensive experience in the area of ​​Gynecological Endoscopy, with emphasis on Minimally Invasive Gynecology and Endometriosis.
