Biography
He holds a degree in Medicine from the Medical School of Itajubá (1981), specialization in Gastroenterology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (1984), Medical Residence in General Surgery from Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (1985 to 1987), Master in Medicine (Surgery) by the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1996) and Doctorate in Medicine (Surgery) by the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (2002). He is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, and has been working at São Luiz Gonzaga Hospital since 1988. He has experience in Medicine, with emphasis in Surgery General and Gastroenterology, working mainly on the themes: abdominal wall hernias, Spiegel hernias and general surgery. Professor of Medicine at the University of Nove de Julho, São Paulo, from January 2010 to December 2017. Approved as an ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) Course at the American College of Surgeons in February 2017.
