Petrônio Generoso Thomaz

Biography

Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995) and PhD in Sciences (concentration area: Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery) from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2007). He studied Medical Residency in General Surgery at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (HC-UFMG) and Medical Residency in Cardiovascular Surgery at the Heart Institute of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (InCor-FMUSP). He holds a degree in Intensive Medicine by the Brazilian Intensive Medicine Association (AMIB). He is currently Prof. Instructor of the medical course of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (FCMSCSP). It exerts assistance and research activities in the areas of cardiovascular surgery and intensive medicine.
