Biography

TR Rosenstock is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physiological Science at Santa Casa de São Paulo School of Medical Sciences (FCMSCSP), and since 2015, T.Rosenstock is a member of the International Relations Office and President of the Internal Biosecurity Committee. TR Rosenstock research has been Huntington's disease (HD), and more recently, the main goal is to investigate the relationship between transcription deregulation and mitochondrial dysfunction in different models of neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders as the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Schizophrenia. RT Rosenstock got, in 2001, her BSc. in Biomedical Science at Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil), and in 2004 and 2008 she obtained her Master and PhD degrees in the same University. In 2002, she received a short-stay fellowship from Howard Hugues Medical Institution and in 2007 an exchange fellowship to develop part of her PhD work at University of Rome TorVergata (Italy). From 2008 to 2014, she was a Post-Doc fellow at Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology (Portugal). During this period, she participated in PENS Summer School Metabolic Aspects of Chronic Brain Diseases (Germany) and at Laboratory Animal Science (Category C)? According to FELASA, and received a short-stay fellowship to the Dept. of Biological Engineering, MIT (USA).
