Biography

Graduated in Medicine from the Fluminense Federal University (2008) and Medical Residency in Pathological Anatomy in the Brotherhood of Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (2014). During the graduation he worked in the area of ​​Microbiology, with emphasis on Virology (HPV). He is currently an Instructor Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, also working as a volunteer physician at the Pathology Department of the institution, where he is mainly dedicated to hematopathology. In 2007/2008 she held an internship at the "Üniversità Degli Studi di Siena", Italy. After his medical residency, he returned to Italy twice (2013 and 2015) to accompany the Department of Hematopathology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stefano Pileri and Dr. Elena Sabattini, at "Universitá di Bologna". It was also in Santander, Spain, to attend the Service of hematopathology under supervision of Prof. Dr. Miguel A. Piris. In 2017 he received a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Translational Molecular Pathology of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, working with Digital Imaging and Tumor Inflammatory Cell characterization.
