Biography
Leif Nelson was appointed Chief Operating Officer in July 2015. He has over 18 years’ experience in the drilling industry most recently as Vice President Operations Performance. Prior to joining Seadrill, Leif held various operational positions for Transocean. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines and holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering. Leif sits on the board of the Well Control Institute. Leif is a US citizen and resides in London.
