Jack Bowles

Biography

Mr. Jack Marie Henry David Bowles has been Chief Operating Officer for International Business Excluding US at British American Tobacco p.l.c. since October 1, 2017 and has been its Member of the Management Board since October 2009. Mr. Bowles served as Regional Director of Asia Pacific at British American Tobacco p.l.c. since January 1, 2013 until October 1, 2017. Mr. Bowles served as Director of American Region at British American Tobacco plc from October 1, 2011 January 1, 2013 and Director of Western Europe from October 2009 to October 1, 2011. He joined British American Tobacco in 2004. He served as the Managing Director of British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad from May 1, 2007 to October 01, 2009. Mr. Bowles has a vast experience of 20 years in the cigarette industry. Prior to joining the British American Tobacco Group, he worked for Philip Morris and Imperial Tobacco. He worked for blue-chip fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies across Europe and Asia. Mr. Bowles served as Chairman and Director of Souza Cruz S.A. He served as Chairman of British American Tobacco France since 2005. He served as Non-Independent Executive Director of British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad from May 1, 2007 to September 2009.
