Biography

Mr. Carlos Anibal Fernandes de Almeida, Jr., has been an Executive Officer of Pulp Business at Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. since July 12, 2017. Mr. de Almeida served as an Executive Officer of Pulp and Paper Business Unit at Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. until July 12, 2017 and its Executive Officer for Paper Business Unit. Mr. de Almeida served as an Executive Officer of Paper Business Unit for Quattor Petroquimica SA (now known as Braskem Petroquímica S.A.) since 2008. Mr. de Almeida worked for GE holding in various positions until becoming the General Manager of Sales in Latin America for the Industrial Systems Division. He joined Suzano in 2004 as the International Sales Manager. During the construction of the Mucuri Project, he managed the sales activities for the additional yearly production of 1 million tons of market pulp. He serves as a Director of Suzano Trading Limited. Mr. de Almeida holds an electrical engineering degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a master’s degree in business administration from IBMEC (São Paulo).
