Biography
Dr. Nildemar Secches serves as Director of Suzano Papel e Celulose SA since 2008. He has served as Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors at BRF-Brasil Foods and Member of the Board of Directors at WEG SA, Ultrapar Participacoes SA and Iochpe-Maxion SA. He was Chief Executive Officer of Empresas Perdigao, Director of BNDES and Corporate Director of Grupo Iochpe-Maxion Holding Industrial. He obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) in 1971, with Masters in Finance from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and a Doctorate in Philosophy degree Economics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) in 1984.
