Biography
Mr. José Efromovich serves as Senior Executive at Synergy Group of Companies. Mr. Efromovich began his career in the Brazilian construction company Inca. In 1977 he turned independent, becoming involved in various business activities in the medical field centered around the production and marketing of radioactive materials used in oncology for diagnoses. For 35 years he has participated in the development and expansion of the various companies now known as the Grupo Synergy, a group with investments in aerospace, power generation, marine engineering and hydrocarbons. Mr. Efromovich has been Director of Aerovías del Continente Americano S.A since March 25, 2014. He serves as Director of Avianca S.A., and OceanAir. He has been a Director at Avianca Holdings S.A. (formerly AviancaTaca Holding SA) since February 2010. He served as a Director of PF One. He served as a Director of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. from April 2008 to February 2010. He served as a Member of the Advisory Board of Pacific Stratus International Energy Ltd. and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. Mr. Efromovich graduated as a Civil engineer in the Mackenzie Engineering School of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
