Biography

Mr. Yuejia Sha has been Vice President of China Mobile Limited since March 2006. Mr. Sha serves as Vice President of China Mobile Communications Corporation. He is a professor-level senior engineer with over 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He assists the Chief Executive Officer in relation to business support, technology and R&D of China Mobile Hong Kong Ltd. He served as President of Beijing Telecommunications Planning and Designing Institute Corporation Limited. He served as a Director of Engineering Construction Department IV Division at Beijing Telecommunications Administration, the President of Beijing Telecommunications Planning Design Institute, as a Deputy Director General of Beijing Telecommunications Administration, as a Vice President of Beijing Mobile Communications Company, as a Vice President, Chairman and the President of China Mobile Group Beijing Company Limited. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Beijing Mobile. He has been an Executive Director at China Mobile Limited since March 2006 and China Mobile Communications Corporation. since March 2006. He serves as a Director at GSM Association, Gsma Ltd and China Mobile Communication Company Limited. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Ltd. since August 19, 2010. He has been a Director of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co., Ltd. since August 2010. He also served as a Director of Beijing Mobile. Mr. Sha Graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and received a Master’s Degree from the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
