Biography
Gecynalda Soares da Silva Gomes holds a degree in Statistics from the Federal University of Ceará (1999), a Masters in Statistics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2005) and a PhD in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2010). She is currently coordinator of the scholarship program of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Bahia, researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology for Software Engineering and associate professor III of the Federal University of Bahia. Has experience in the area of ​​Probability and Statistics, with emphasis on Probability and Statistics, working mainly on the following topics: Neural Networks Models, Activation Functions, Regression Models.
