Biography
He has a degree in Computer Science: Graduated from the Federal University of Bahia - UFBA (1982), a master's degree from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (1986) and a PhD from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England (1994). He has held missions as a visiting researcher at IRISA / France (1997, 2000, 2002 and 2011) and as a Senior Associate Researcher at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2008). He is a TITLE professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Bahia.
Research Interest
Distributed Systems and Algorithms, Fault Tolerance, Autonomous Systems, Real Time Systems.
