Biography
Ricardo Pinto da Rocha holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Paraná, a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the University of São Paulo and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the University of São Paulo (1997). He is currently a collaborating curator at the University of São Paulo and professor of the Department of Zoology at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the area of ​​Zoology, with emphasis on Taxonomy of Recent Groups, especially arachnids, working mainly on the following topics: Opiliones, Scorpiones. Ricinulei, Schizomida, neotropic, systematic, biogeography, Arachnida and biospeleolog
